‘Jee Rahe The Hum (Falling In Love)’: Basic Lyrics And Salman Khan’s Vocals Make This Song A Disaster!

Do you think too or is it just me who feels that good romantic tracks have become very rare nowadays? Well, for me a combination of meaningful lyrics, calming music and soothing vocals make for a nice romantic song. And on that note, we have a new release to add to the list of this genre, and it is from the movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan titled ‘Jee Rahe The Hum (Falling In Love)’. The lead singer is the lead actor in the film, Salman Khan, and Amaal Malik composed the track. But does it make it to the “Good” romantic songs list? Well, not really, because it does come with a heavy set of flaws.

‘Jee Rahe The Hum (Falling In Love)’ was dropped on Tuesday, March 21, and will surely serve as a treat for Bhaijaan’s fans. Salman Khan himself has sung this romantic song from his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Pooja Hedge is the leading actress in the film and of course features in the song too! Shabbir Ahmed has penned the lyrics of ‘Jee Rahe The Hum (Falling In Love)’.

Now, the instruments used for the music in the song is violin and guitar mainly. The violin’s music is TBH quite soothing to the ears, but that rhythm is absolutely disturbed by the vocals and the lyrics. Starting with the lyrics, it is very bland and basic, sounds like a recitation actually! As a listener, you need to feel and connect with the lyrics of romantic songs, right? But you won’t when it comes to this particular song. Also, Salman Khan’s vocals do not really help here or do any kind of justice to this song. It was a nice try, but really failed to impress! Another very bizarre component added to the song was some hook step for the actor and all I ask is WHY? There was no need for that and all it does is ruin it even more!

If you listen to ‘Jee Rahe The Hum (Falling In Love)’ very carefully, you will realise that the music, vocals and lyrics, the three main components are not in sync, and make the track very monotonous.
