The Jalsa trailer shows a journalist (played by Vidya Balan) standing in solidarity with her cook, Rukhsana (Shefali Shah), whose daughter died an untimely death. The two of them get together to find out who was behind the wheel that took the daughter’s life and bring the killer to justice.

And having watched the Jalsa trailer, I can say with certainty that the movie is going to be a hit. I mean, in the trailer you can see incredible acting by the actors, the plotline looks well written, and the dialogues are powerful. I especially loved the part when Shefali Shah questions ‘So?’, when her husband (I’m guessing) says that the daughter was out at 3 am.
