‘Ishq Vishk’ Sequel Titled ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ Will Be About Gen Z Love And Online Dating. We’re Intrigued!
Love conquers all and Bollywood films have time and again proved it. But remember our teenage days when we clearly did not value love and relationships or other people’s feelings for that matter. After all, we’ve watched all those teenage dramas that have time and again shown us the mirror. One such desi romantic drama film was Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao starrer Ishq Vishk. Back when it was released in 2003, this film turned out to be a big hit and that’s probably why Shahid won several accolades and awards for his performance in the film for the best male debut. This film was a typical coming-of-age romantic drama making it so much more relatable for teenagers and college-goers. And now it looks like the film is coming back with a bang! Yepp, you read that right. Earlier, there was a buzz within the entertainment industry that a sequel of the film is underway but the same has now been officially confirmed. Ramesh Taurani of the Tips films has officially announced the second instalment of the Shahid Kapoor starrer film titled Ishq Vishk Rebound and we know all about the star cast.
Ishq Vishk Rebound will star actor Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan and Naila Grewal in pivotal roles. And the makers have shared the official announcement video of the upcoming film. The video was also shared by the Gen Z actors on their Instagram handles. The caption along with the announcement video hints that this sequel will revolve around online dating. “When relationships can be found on apps, and lost over a chat, you know that love needs an upgrade. ISHQ VISHK REBOUND. It’s time to move on,” read the caption of the video shared by Tips films and Ramesh Taurani. Take a look at this video.

For the uninitiated, earlier there were rumours about the sequel of the film coming soon and sources had told Pinkvilla in October 2021 that filmmaker Ramesh Taurani and his team of writers had begun working on the script. It was said that the filmmaker will start looking for a director and start casting once the final script is locked in. Well, looks like the script was finally locked in.

Ishq Vishk gave a platform to Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao and it catapulted their careers. And now the sequel Ishq Vishk Rebound will be launching the career of several newbies.
