Days after rumours of Ranveer Singh’s exit from Don 3 surfaced, reports that Hrithik Roshan was being approached for the role began circulating. Many claimed that the makers had approached him after tensions escalated with the Dhurandhar actor. But the actor dismissed all this chatter with a statement saying that he was “never” approached for the role and asked everyone to verify such claims. In January 2026, TellyChakkar reported that after Singh’s exit, Shah Rukh Khan was also approached to return for the third instalment of Don.
The outlet reported that Shah Rukh had one big condition of bringing Jawan director Atlee for Don 3; however, no one has confirmed or denied this news yet. As fans wait to watch who eventually takes the lead in the famous film, Farhan Akhtar has not yet issued anything regarding the matter. Ranveer is currently in a ban by FWICE, which is more of an industry-wide non-cooperative rather than a legal issue. This means that affiliated workers and many others are asked not to collaborate with the actor on any projects.
