Influencer’s Cannes Experience With Paid Photographers, Aishwarya Rai Has The Internet Talking

Amid the wave of the Cannes Film Festival 2026, many have been curious as to what happens on the red carpet. And in recent events, content creator Tarini Peshwaria, who has visited the festival, has shown a hidden side of the same by sharing some behind-the-scenes details from her experience. She revealed how one has to pay the photographers and the unique rules for the global event.

Truth Behind Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet

Influencer Tarini Peshawaria shared an Instagram reel recalling her first trip to Cannes about four years back. She attended the festival through a beauty collaboration and opened up about what happens behind the “perfect” celebrity pictures. She also revealed accidentally sharing a hotel lift with the cast of Emily in Paris, which we are so jealous about. Further into the video, Tarini talked about how heavily managed the Cannes red carpet is, especially when a major celebrity arrives.

She stated that one can only walk on the red carpet for about 1-2 minutes, and someone like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would have the whole red carpet to themselves. Whenever they would pose, no one would be allowed to be on the red carpet. She also addressed one of the biggest misconceptions about photographers “willingly” taking everyone’s pictures. As per her, the attendees hire photographers to click them, and she paid around 400 euros for 7 videos and 7 pictures.

Tarini Peshawaria also talked about the famous Martinez hotel that everyone comes out of in the pictures and said that one room can cost around 2-3 Lakhs per night. She was luckily sponsored by L’Oreal, so she didn’t have to pay for the room. The content creator also said that it was very difficult to even get a picture because of the intense crowds and constant activities.
