India is currently witnessing one of the most historically significant political events unfolding. The protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party is being backed by the youth of India, who are demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination. Backing them, many celebrities have either supported the movement on social media or have appeared in the ground physically to be a part of it. And yes, the list also includes Imran Khan, who didn’t just simply attend the movement but also had some words to share that many might agree with!

What Did Imran Khan Say Exactly?

During the protest, Imran Khan was reportedly asked about his opinion on the actors who believe that their art is not political. The actor responded by saying that true art is going to have an individual artist’s point of view embedded within it, and as part of our human nature, we are going to have opinions and perspectives that we hold true to ourselves. Imran stated that one can’t stand by their opinions, and if they do not pour their own heart into their art, their art has no value. For the unversed, the actor’s comments on the alleged lathi charge against the student also reportedly went viral, where he mentioned that the citizens who stood up showed what mattered to them and were berated and disowned by the establishment.
