While some actors from the film industry opted to show up at the protest site, others penned notes and recorded videos on social media. The list includes names like Sonakshi Sinha, Naseeruddin Shah, and Ratna Pathak Shah. Now the names of other actors like Ananya Panday and Varun Dhawan have also been added to this list. Ananya Panday
The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actor Ananya Panday has also shared her thoughts on the Gen Z students’ protest over the NEET paper leak. She posted two black-and-white pictures from the protest, one of a man holding the Indian Constitution and the other of a child with a placard that read, “Save my future.” In the caption, Ananya Panday wrote that Gen Z has always been considered the lazy generation, but recent times are a reminder of who they are. The actor also showed solidarity with the students and wrote, “Questioning isn’t disrespect. Speaking up isn’t rebellion.” She also hoped for a better future.
Kamal Haasan
The popular South Indian film star Kamal Haasan also voiced his support for the students and condemned the brutality shown by the police on the students. The actor also requested the educationist and innovator Sonam Wangchuk to end his indefinite strike as he was quite precious to the country.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
The actor also echoed similar thoughts like the others in the film industry. In her note on social media, she stressed the importance of education in a child’s life, and that they deserved a system they could trust. Kareena Kapoor Khan supported accountability for the students and an answer to everything they were fighting against.

Varun Dhawan
The actor also shared a note to support the students’ cause and their fight against the NEET paper leak. Varun Dhawan urged the authorities to have a dialogue with the students and find a fair resolution to the fight.
