Samantha Ruth Prabhu juggled many things both personally and professionally this year. Be it her OTT debut in the Raj & DK helmed show The Family Man Season 2 or separation from husband and actor Naga Chaitanya post a four year-long marriage, the actress tasted both love and judgement from her fans alike. Opening up about the divorce and the many negative reactions by the duo’s fans, she said, “I remember crumbling and being sad. But now, I believe stars thrive on the love of their fans and I am extremely grateful for it. It keeps the engagement alive and personally I like to share and when I share I am also inviting people into my life, and if my opinions or actions don’t align with their world view it is going to disappoint them. And yes, they are going to troll and abuse.”

“And my only request was that I don’t demand unconditional acceptance. But there is a manner in which disagreement or disappointment can be communicated and that is all I asked for,” she added further.
