Former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst Passes After Falling From 6O-Story Building, Harnaaz Sandhu Mourns Her Death

Coping with the loss of a close one is one of the hardest things that many of us face and it takes a lot of time to move from it. Loss is a natural part of life, but it still affects people in many ways and when it’s an untimely death, the sadness can be more intense. Recently, Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu penned an emotional note after former Miss USA Cheslie Kryst passed away at the age of 30 after falling from a 60-story building.

On Sunday, Cheslie Kryst was pronounced dead after she fell from a 60-story building in New York City after 7 am. Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu expressed her shock over the news and penned a heartfelt note on her social media account. She shared a picture with Cheslie after she had won the title at the 70th Miss Universe 2021, held in Eilat, Israel. In the picture, they both can be seen smiling as they are posing for the picture. Sharing the picture, Harnaaz wrote, “This is heartbreaking and unbelievable, you were always an inspiration to many. Rest In Peace Cheslie.”

According to the reports, the NYPD (New York Police Department) has shared that the death of Cheslie Kryst appears to be a suicide but it’s not confirmed yet. Cheslie, the founder of White Collar Glam which is a women’s business apparel blog was born in 1991. She grew up in South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina in 2017. She graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law and started working as a civil litigator at North Carolina firm Poyner Spruill LLP. In 2019, Cheslie won the title of Miss North Carolina USA and was also crowned Miss USA 2019.

In 2019, Cheslie began working for Extra as a New York correspondent. Her firm appointed her as the first diversity advisor in 2020.
