Exclusive: “He Is A Free Mind, Free Spirit”: ‘School Of Lies’ Actor Nimrat Kaur On Young Co-Star Varin Roopani
She is mighty impressed with his talent!
The highly anticipated series starring Nimrat Kaur in the lead titled School Of Lies is out now. The trailer gave a hint of the thrills and chill that are in store for the audience as the plot is set in a school where a kid goes missing. But Nimrat sure had a great time shooting for the show with not just the adult cast but also the younger cast as well. In an exclusive chat with Hauterrfly, Nimrat Kaur shared her experience of working with the younger cast, especially Varin Roopani, the actor who plays the role of Vikram in the show. The actress is all praise about him!

Nimrat Kaur is mighty impressed with actor Vain Roopani, to say the least. She could not stop praising the young actor’s talent. Nimrat said that she had an incredible time working with the kids on the show, particularly with Varin Roopani who plays the role of Vikram. “I wanted to make sure that we had a good dynamic because my character Nandita, goes through a lot with his character, Vikram,” says Nimrat. It is evident from the trailer that Vrain’s character Vikram knows more than he is letting on about the missing kid in school.
The actress went on to add that she was impressed with the way he met her like a ‘free mind’ and a ‘free spirit’ “He is a young actor, and he has done some lovely work. He also has a beautiful part in the show,” Nimrat added. Talking about how fearless he was, the 41-year-old actress went on to say that Varin Roopani is quite ahead of his age and this made her calibrate what she was like when she was of Varin’s age. She also went on to add that she was ‘quite scandalised’ with some of the things Varin Roopani spoke about as he is from the Gen Z generation.
