Lara Dutta Showers Blessings On Harnaaz Sandhu For The Iconic Tribute At Miss Universe 2022
It indeed was an iconic tribute!
Lara Dutta and Sushmita Sen made India proud when they became Miss Universe in 2000 and 1994 respectively. Their outfits from they walked the ramp to their speeches, all is remembered even today. 21 years after Lara Dutta’s win, Harnaaz Sandhu brought the crown back home by winning the Miss Universe pageant in 2021. In the latest edition of the Miss Universe, Harnaaz paid a tribute to both the former winners of the titles by having their faces printed on the stunning black gown she wore! The 22-year-old took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt post dedicated to both Lara and Sushmita and the former has even dropped a sweet comment on it.

Sharing a series of pictures from the pageant this year, Harnaaz Sandhu wrote that she pays a huge tribute to these ‘incredible’ women who have made India proud. Further, she wrote that she adores them very much and dedicated her last walk to both Lara and Sushmita! In her post, she wrote that it was her honour and gratitude to represent India on the Miss Universe platform. She also thanked Saisha Shinde for making her dream gown come true which she wore for her last walk as the reigning Miss Universe!

Of course, Lara Dutta took notice of this post and dropped a sweet comment on it as well. She wished that Harnaaz keep shining like the ‘diamond’ that she is and also wished her luck for all that is yet to come! How truly sweet! Saisha Shinde, Sonam Bajwa and Miss India Universe 2022 Divita Rai also showered love on the post!

Harnaaz had opted for a black princess-style gown for her last walk on the Miss Universe 2022 stage.
