The claims about Awarapan 2 getting postponed have been dismissed by the producer and the actor. During an Instagram live session from the official social media handle of Vishesh Films, producer Vishesh Bhatt interacted with the fans and answered many of their doubts. Among them, they asked about the claims around the release of Awarapan 2 getting postponed amid Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947.
Firstly, he called the rumours baseless and added that the film would be releasing as per the schedule, which is August 14. Vishesh Bhatt went on to explain the reasons behind the delays, which included some extra time to finish the execution of the action scenes, and Emraan Hashmi’s unfortunate injury, which brought the shoot to a halt. He again assured the fans that the movie is releasing as scheduled and that the team is quite excited for it. Actor Emraan Hashmi also joined the live session and confirmed that Awarapan 2 was not postponed. The actor also gave fans a little sneak peek about what they should expect in Awarapan 2, and the major one was all the unanswered questions about his character Shivam Pandit. He also added that Awarapan will only re-release in theatres after the sequel drops.
