After supporting the CJP-led Jantar Mantar protest for the NEET-UG paper leak, Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha has also spoken about the students of Jharkhand. The actor has taken a stand for the students’ protest against the irregularities in recruitment exams conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC). Sonakshi Sinha On Jharkhand Protests
Sonakshi Sinha took to her Instagram stories and shared a reel of a content creator talking about the Jharkhand student poured going on since the past few days. She called hundreds of students coming on the roads and demanding accountability “disheartening” and asked when will all of these irregularities stop. For the unversed, the students have been protesting at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium since July 29 and have claimed that the JMM-led government had attempted to “whitewash” this issue by entrusting the investigation to the CID. They had also demanded an a CBI-led investigation along with that of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) stating large financial transactions being linked to the alleged recruitment scam.
On the other hand, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke also shared that he has spoken to the students at the Jharkhand protest, and added that his group, which led the massive NEET paper leak,”stands with all students” on X (Previously Twitter). The demands of the students include the cancellation of the 14th JPSC Combined Preliminary Test that was held on April 19 along with an independent body by central agencies like the CBI and ED, into these irregularities in recurrence exams conducted by the JPSC and JSSC. Further details are awaited as the students continue their protests and demand accountability from the government.
