‘Dream Girl 2’: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Pooja Is Back, This Time Bollywood Ki Nazar Utarne!
Remember Pooja, the Dream Girl who swept hearts so easily just by her voice? Well, only to realise that was a boy. However the movie gave us a hilarious and fresh plot, and it featured Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role. But looks like Pooja’s talents were not really revealed entirely in the first installment as the movie is back with the second, Honestly, we cannot keep calm because the cast and dates have been announced for Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilya through a bone-tickling video starring Ayushmann.
The video announcement for the movie Dream Girl 2 was released on September 16, Friday. The second installment will see the amazing actor-director duo pair up again and they are Ayushmann Khurrana and Raaj Shaandilya, of course. Dream Girl 2 will be produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor, under the production banner Balaji Motion Pictures. Ananya Panday is all set to join the cast for Dream Girl 2 and will play the interest of Ayushmann’s character. Along with this lead cast, the movie has a range of promising actors like- Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh, and Abhishek Banerjee. Looking at the cast, we can say that this time fun and humour are going to be double.

In the video released to announce the movie date and cast, we see Ayushmann urf Pooja seriously giving a thought to the flop releases back to back in Bollywood. Ayushmann then goes on to discuss this with two of his friends and says flop movies have brought him to Mathura so that some Pooja could help. To this, his friends say that Pooja is now must to save the sinking ship of Bollywood, but woh aaegi kab? Okay, so the movie is all set to hit the theatres on June 23, on Eid in 2023.
