Part two of Divyanka Tripathi’s conversation with the Male Feminist was released on April 10. The actress expressed her views, and shared shocking incidents in this episode too! One of the many valid arguments that the actress raised was about women always being judged for the way they dress up. On this Divyanka Tripathi first referred to Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana in which the characters of Ram and Sita were dressed in a certain way. She then went on to say that there are possibilities that Ram and Sita dressed in some other way. By this example, the actress tried to say that people accept what they see as something unalterable.

Divyanka Tripathi further added that if a woman represents a certain profession, she is expected to fit the dressing norms. For politicians, a woman is only taken seriously if she is dressed in the right way, added the actress. Slamming this kind of perspective, Divyanka said that by forcing someone to dress a certain way, people are also making them hide a part of their personality and that according to the actress, was not right.
