Dipika Kakar Reveals Crying Before MRI Scans, Says She Was Scared

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim revealed the results of her latest MRI scan in their recent vlog.

Dipika Kakar is truly one of the fiercest people. She has never shied away from openly talking about health battles and how vulnerable that makes her feel from time to time. Talking about the same, the actress recently opened up to being scared and breaking down during her recent MRI scan. Additionally, she and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, also revealed the result of the same. Know all about it below.

Dipika Kakar Gets Emotional During Recent MRI Scan 

In the couple’s recent YouTube vlog, Dipika Kakar expressed that she was scared, and she cried before entering the MRI machine and during the scan. The actress stated that sometimes crying helps relieve anxiety; for her, it helps a lot. In the video, she and Shoaib Ibrahim revealed that they were not able to spend time with their son Ruhaan due to their recent work commitments over the past week. Further revealing the results, Shoaib stated that two small dots appeared in the MRI scan. Dipika mentioned that said spots were very small and that the doctor does not believe in taking action at this stage. She added that after a month, she will undergo one more, adding that they need to do close scans so that if it appears again, it can be treated. Additionally, Shoaib also revealed that his wife will undergo immunotherapy this week.

Details About Her Cyst

For the unaware, Dipika Kakar is currently battling liver cancer. She opened up about her diagnosis back in 2025 after the doctor reportedly found a tennis ball-sized cancerous cyst near her liver. She then underwent surgery when 22 per cent of her liver was removed along with the cyst. Additionally, the actress recently underwent another surgery when another cyst reportedly reappeared near her liver.
