For quite some time, her name was being linked with Mohanlal’s son and actor Pranav Mohanlal. The buzz around their dating and speculated marriage plans had taken over the internet. Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Mother On Her Marriage Rumours
Kalyani Priyadarshan’s mother, Lissy Lakshmi, dismissed the actress’ marriage rumours on her social media. She took to her Instagram and shared a carousel on the occasion of the Malayalam New Year, Vishu. In the picture, we can see her praying in front of the religious idols. The prasadam she served on the banana leaf was also visible. For the occasion, Lissy donned a beautiful Kasavu saree. In the caption, the actress, mother, wished everyone on Visu, stating, “Wishing everyone a Vishu filled with prosperity, abundance, health, and joy. A wonderful new year to all!” In the comments section, a person reportedly penned that they were waiting for Kalyani and Pranav Priyadashan’s marriage. She simply replied to the same with, “false news.”

Kalyani Priyadarshan and Pranav Mohanlal, who grew up together, had acted together in Hridayam and Varshangalkku Shesham. Fans loved their chemistry, after which their dating rumour fuelled the internet. However, back in 2023, Kalyani told Vanitha TV that they were like siblings. The actress revealed that she called him Appu and that she has more pictures with Pranav than with her own brother. Further, she added that whenever Pranav came to Chennai, I would introduce him as her cousin to her friends, as it was complicated to explain their relationship.
As far as her upcoming work goes, she will reportedly feature in a Tamil project titled Genie and Marshal and a Malayalam film titled Lokah Chapter 2.
