Baby announcements usually fill our hearts will loads of joy and blessings for the couple and their new innings. And our favourite television couple has finally announced their pregnancy. For the past few months, there have been rumours of Dipika Kakar being pregnant and now the actress along with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim has announced that they’re starting a new phase of their lives as they’re expanding their family. The television couple is expecting their first child.

Taking to Instagram Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim shared a collaborated post with a picture of both of them sitting wearing caps with ‘mom-to-be’ and ‘dad-to-be’ written on them. In the captions, the actors shared that with happiness, excitement and gratitude in their hearts, they’re sharing the news of embracing parenthood with everyone. The couple also revealed that they’re nervous about it as well.

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim also shared a vlog to announce the happy news as well. In the vlog, Shoaib revealed that the elders in their family as well as the doctors recommended that the couple keep their pregnancy hush-hush for at least 3 months due to which they did not announce it earlier.

Calling this phase of their lives “the most beautiful phase”, the actress said that the couple did not like not being able to share this happy news with people. Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim also shared that last year around February-March, the actress had a miscarriage during her 6th or 7th week which is why they were scared of sharing this news with the world.

Shoaib Ibrahim recalled the moment when Dipika Kakar told him about her pregnancy. Sharing it with the fans, the actor said that he was shooting when he received a text from his wife stating that she was sending him a picture and asked him to urgently look at it. Upon opening the picture the actor realised that it was the picture of a positive pregnancy test. And while he was happy about it, he also told the actress to not get too attached and they’ll see what will happen because they were really scared. Watch the whole video to find out more.

Soon after sharing the vlog, Dipika and Shoaib dropped another adorable picture on Instagram featuring both of them wearing sneakers along with a tiny pair of sneakers in the middle. In the caption, the couple wrote that they’re gearing up to embrace parenthood while adding that they need love and blessing from their friends, fans and following for their baby.
