Ahead of the release of his film Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups, superstar Yash has revealed that he took intense care of his then-pregnant co-star, Kiara Advani. During the film’s song launch event in Mumbai, the actor said he was more worried about his co-star than about her, and that he even protected her like a bouncer and bodyguard. During the event, Yash praised Kiara Advani, calling her a very professional actor. He also stated that he was worried when she came into the film and recalled her asking him if he had ever done a rain sequence. The actor further commended her dedication towards the project and said that he became more worried about the then-pregnant Kiara and even acted like a bouncer or bodyguard around her to take care of her during that time. During a previous chat at the trailer launch of Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups in Bengaluru, the Shreshah actor had spoken about playing the role of Nadia and credited Yash and director Geetu Mohandas for trusting her with a demanding character and helping her take a big leap in her career.

Without revealing much, she said that she would be perceived in a different way by the audience after watching this film. Kiara also spoke about the experience of making this film and how it changed her expectations for future projects. Addressing his co-star Yash and Mohandas, she cheekily said that they had “spoiled” her by giving her an experience she would want to find again in films.
