Recently Jeongyeon shared a handwritten letter online to tell fans about her new path. She confirmed she had left JYP Entertainment and joined Varo Entertainment. This is the same company that works with her sister, the actress Gong Seungyeon.
Soon after the letter, she posted more messages for her fans. The singer said she knew many people felt surprised by the news. She thanked ONCEs for the strong support they gave her because that support helped her feel stronger. Jeongyeon admitted she felt scared too. She explained that she really wanted to show different sides of herself to the public. Jeongyeon also shared how happy she felt to join a company that fully backs her goals.
