Deepika Thanks Pathaan Director For Well-Written Female Character, Asks Audience To Sit For End Credits

The Pathaan team celebrated the movie’s success with a special press conference and Instagram live. The cast and director of the film discussed the various aspects that led to this movie’s success. Actress, Deepika Padukone spoke on some very important topics during the press conference. She kept forth her opinions on the importance of sitting through the credits. Deepika Padukone also highlighted the need to write good female characters. It all starts with thinking in the right direction, as pointed out by the actor.

At the end of the film, the audience generally avoids sitting through the credits, however, Deepika Padukone gave a perfect reason why we should not do that. As per the actress, a movie looks good on the big screen because of the immense hard work of many people. She said that even the people who drive the vanity are a part of the film, and deserve to be acknowledged. She even thanked her stylists, hair stylists who actually made her look so chic and flawless in the film.

Another point that Deepika Padukone raised in the press conference was the importance of good female characters in a film. She thanked director Siddharth Anand and producer Aditya Chopra for writing Deepika Padukone’s Pathaan character so beautifully. In fact, she expressed her gratitude towards them for considering her to play the lead female role in Pathaan. She even said that such female characters will “Inspire” more writers to think and write more such female characters.
