Cirkus ‘Current Laga Re’ Song Review: Deepika Padukone’s Expressions And Ranveer Singh’s Energy Is An Electrifying Combo!

Current Laga? Because we surely felt it with Ranveer and Deepika’s dance. So the much-awaited song from Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie, Cirkus is here, and in fact, our wait to see Deepika finally ends with that. The song ‘Current Laga Re’ was dropped on December 8. 8. Nakash Aziz, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jonita Gandhi, and Lijo George have sang the song. Kumaar has penned down the lyrics and the composition has been done by Lijo George – Dj Chetas.

Okay, so the song is a mix of Hindi and Tamil lyrics. And it starts with the female lead singer, but then quickly the background music transitions into an upbeat one. And I wonder, how would somebody not groove to that music? Ranveer and Deepika, undoubtedly, are the duo that you know will always set the screen on fire and you will not be disappointed here too. In fact, there are moments where you can feel Ranveer simping over Deepika.

The dance moves are really quirky and umm… some are questionable too! If the intention of the dance moves was to make it look funny, well, then the job has been done perfectly. Deepika Padukone’s dance moves were so effortlessly done, and we can never get enough of those perfect expressions. As usual, Ranveer Singh’s energy is unmatchable. The Tamil rap in between the song has been excellently done by Vivek Hariharan. It is a song that aims to bring you to the dance floor and dance your heart out, so I don’t think there is much contribution from the lyrics in the song. ‘Current Laga Re’ will definitely make you groove to the background score.
