Christmas is the time when we want to watch some fun comedy and romance films that can help us unplug. After all, the holiday season is the time when we want to watch lighthearted content and this Christmas is going to be a total circus because Rohit Shetty directorial starring Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Sharma, Cirkus will hit the theatres across the country on December 23, a day before Christmas eve. Cirkus is a period-comedy drama film produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez, Reliance Entertainment and T-Series. And what’s better than Ranveer Singh in a film? Well, 2 Ranveer Singhs! Yepp, the actor is playing a double role in this film.
The trailer of this highly anticipated film, Cirkus is here and it looks like a total laughter riot. From the makers of Golmaal, Gomaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Golmaal Again, Chennai Express, Bol Bachchan, All The Best, Diwale, Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi, this film is set in the 60s in Ooty and follows the story of a man with a connection to electricity and his lookalike. When both of them end up romancing 2 women in the same city, chaos ensues. This film also stars Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, Siddharth Jadhav, Vijay Patkar, Vrajesh Hirjee and Ashwini Kalsekar among several others. Check out this crazy and chaotic trailer. This film is a total comedy of errors but the chaos in the trailer makes it very tough to make out what’s coming at us. Looks like Cirkus is going to be a total circus. But honestly, the real dhamakaa of the trailer came in the very end in the form of Ranveer Singh’s baby aka Deepika Padukone. TBH, she totally stole the show.
