Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his X and penned that nothing was more important than the welfare and future of our youth! He stated that they had decided to set up fast-track courts to ensure swift and stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks. The PM also wrote that they have directed the concerned authorities and officials to take all necessary steps in this regard, adding that this continues their series of steps for safeguarding the interests of students. PM Modi ended the tweet by writing, “Those who try to harm the future of our youth will not be spared.”

After the protest led by Cockroach Janata Party took over social media, many celebrities took to their Instagram handles and supported the movement online, including Sonakshi Sinha, Preity Zinta, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajkummar Rao, Karan Kundraa, Elvish Yadav, Sahiba Bali, Diljit Dosanjh, Vir Das, Abhay Deol, and more. For the unversed, the youth are currently demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
