Charu Asopa And Rajeev Sen Have This To Say About Sushmita Sen And Lalit Modi’s Relationship

On Thursday, July 14, a tweet by Lalit Modi broke and shocked the internet. So, what was the tweet about? Well, in the tweet the former IPL chairman announced to the world that he was back from a long global vacation with his “better half” Sushmita Sen. Yep, it was the tweet where he revealed that he and the Aarya actress were in a relationship with each other. While this news shocked the internet and even gave birth to a meme fest on Twitter, there were two other people who were equally shocked – her sister-in-law Charu Asopa and her brother Rajeev Sen. 

Yep, when the news of Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi’s relationship broke out, there were a lot who were in a trance and surprised to hear about their dating – including the actress’ brother Rajeev Sen and his soon-to-be ex-wife and actress Charu Asopa.

Charu Asopa and Sushmita Sen share a great relationship and the duo are often seen chilling and spending time together. So, when asked what Asopa thought about her sister-in-law’s relationship with Lalit Modi, the actress immediately refused to comment on it.

However, that was not the case with Rajeev Sen. When asked to comment on Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi’s relationship, the actress’ younger brother said, “I am pleasantly surprised. I will speak to my sister before I say anything. I wasn’t aware of it at all. My sister is yet to confirm this from her end, so, I can’t comment as of now.”

In December last year, Sushmita Sen ended her three-year-long relationship with model Rohman Shawl. At the time, the actress had taken to her Instagram to confirm the rumours of their breakup and had written that the two of them will continue to remain friends. Rohman Shawl had also re-shared the post with a selfie of them.
