The biggest event for the cinema enthusiast is almost here. Yes, we are talking about the Cannes Film Festival. The event will kick off on May 12 and end on May 23. Now we all know that Aishwarya Rai is the queen of Cannes, and the actress will attend this year as well. Who Will Attend The Cannes Film Festival From India?

As per Hindustan Times, apart from Aishwarya Rai and Alia Bhatt, Tara Sutaria will also walk the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, marking her debut at the event. Additionally, other Indian celebrities, including Karan Johar, Mouni Roy and Pooja Batra, will also attend the festival. It’s worth noting that the official delegation from India will be represented by the newly appointed director of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), Ashutosh Gowariker. Stars from the Marathi and Gujarati cinema, including Ashok Saraf, Nivedita Saraf, Prajakta Mali, Kedar Joshi, Mansi Parekh, and Parthiv Gohil, will also be present. Along with them, stars from Punjab, including Ammy Virk and Roopi Gill, will also grace the festival, representing their film Chardikala. Filmmaker Chidambaram will attend the event as his film Balan: The Boy will be screened at Cannes.
