Shortly after these concerns were raised, an official notice appeared about a meet-and-greet session to celebrate the anniversary.
The event is set for August 8, 2026, in Seoul, and the selected winners will receive the location. To join the raffle, people must hold a completed BLACKPINK Weverse membership by July 31, 2026. Only 40 winners will be chosen, and their names will appear on Weverse on August 7, 2026. The notice also made clear that only the members who are free at that time will take part.
These conditions left many fans feeling let down. The small number of spots, combined with the chance that not all four members would appear, struck people as lacking warmth for such an important year. Online reactions showed strong frustration. Some long-time fans said they had lost hope and questioned why they continued to defend the group if the members themselves showed little interest in gathering for the anniversary.
