The recent Bigg Boss 20’s Weekend Ka Vaar was truly a heavy one for ScoutOP and Love Gill. Amid the scrutiny over their physical closeness, his girlfriend, Kaashvi Hiranandani, made an unexpected appearance and told him to respect his boundaries. Along with this, she also claimed that he was manipulated and “trapped” by Love. Now the Punjabi actress’ team shared a lengthy statement defending her on social media.

Bigg Boss 20 contestant Love Gill’s team shared a lengthy statement on Instagram stories where it was mentioned that the human heart can only take so much before silence becomes a scream. They added that witnessing Love stand utterly alone, defenceless, while her entire character was assassinated on national television was nothing short of agonising. It was revealed that the Punjab actress’s family is “destroyed and shattered into pieces.” Her team asked people to imagine being a mother, sitting at home, helpless as she watches the world vilify the daughter she raised. They also asked the audience to imagine witnessing her take the blame for a man’s “uncurbed emotions, while opportunistic influencers and clout-chasers turn her pain into content for likes, views, and headlines.” They asked if people have completely stripped away humanity and do we even care what happens to a soul when it’s thrown under the bus so brutally? Love’s team claimed that since day one her boundaries were clear, adding that Scout was a brother to her yet, the moment a grown man blurred those boundaries and confessed his feelings, society executed its oldest, most toxic double standard which is to blame the woman. It was also questioned why a grown man is treated like a “victim of hypnosis, while a girl is painted as a calculated temptress?”

Love Gill’s team further questioned why she is expected to carry the burden, shame, and humiliation for feelings she never asked for and never reciprocated. They added that the Punjabi actress shouldn’t have to surrender her dignity just because someone else lacks the courage to hold their own partner accountable. They stated that Love deserved justice and not character assassination.
