Bhumi Pednekar, Rajkummar Rao Look Focused As They Read ‘Bheed’s’ Script. Here’s What The Film Is About!
Bheed marks Bhumi and Rajkummar's second film.
Bhumi Pednekar is establishing herself as one of the most versatile actresses in current times. She started her career with a romcom Dum Laga Ke Haisha in which she had to gain a lot of weight, then played a very unique character in Lust Stories, and also tried her hand at horror with Durgamati. Her career trajectory proves she is trying different roles, and surely does not want to be typecasted. And now, she is all set to star in a social drama titled Bheed which is helmed by Anubhav Sinha. Bhumi took to her Instagram to share an official picture of her with Rajkummar Rao and Sinha reading the script of the film.

Taking to the Gram, Bhumi Pednekar shared a photo of her working on Bheed with Rajkummar Rao and director Anubhav Sinha. She was wearing a white oversized t-shirt and had left her hair open while Rajkummar Rao was dressed in a police officer’s uniform. Both had scripts in their hands and were engrossed in reading while Anubhav Sinha was pointing something out to her in the script.

In the caption of the post, Bhumi Pednekar dropped some details about Bheed by writing that it is a social drama on the complexities that India faced during the toughest times the country had to go through. She also announced the release date of the project which is set for March 24, 2023. From the caption, one can expect the film will be set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As per reports, Bhumi was all praise for Anubhav Sinha and said that he shares her belief system. The project is shot in Lucknow.

Bheed will mark Bhumi Pednekar and Anubhva Sinha’s second collaboration as the two have come together for a drama film titled Afwaah. This film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Taapsee Pannu in the lead.
