Besharam Rang Row: Chattisgarh CM Calls Protestors “Bajrangi Goons”
Debate, clashes, and statements over Pathaan’s song ‘Besharam Rang’ song seem to not end anytime soon. It has seen the involvement of political parties, celebrities and of course the Twitterati. But for a change, one of the prominent ministers in India has not bashed the song, but in the controversy has put forth his opinions on the political party that finds it problematic. It is Chattisgarh’s Bhupesh Baghel who has recently given a statement on the protestors of the song, and called them “Bajrangi Goons.”

The Chattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel while speaking to the media on the ‘Besharam Rang’ controversy made some bold statements. He said that there is a difference between people who wear saffron colours and someone who bears the responsibilities that comes with wearing that colour. As per Bhupesh Baghel, the latter ones are mostly saints. He further elaborates by saying that the people who just wrap saffron dupattas and claim to be protectors of the colour are just trying to extort. He questions if they have sacrificed anything in life. Bhupesh Baghel says that nobody should judge someone’s religious, caste based on the colours they wear.

On the other hand, the Madhya Pradesh speaker, Girish Gautam condemned the song. He in fact went ahead to say that Shah Rukh Khan should watch the film with his daughter. It sounded more like a challenge that he wanted to give SRK.

However, while this controversy continues, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone marked their presence at the FIFA World Cup 2022. SRK promoted Pathaan at the event and also shared some alternative career plans if he ever decides to leave acting. And you will be surprised to know that King Khan would wish to step into food-related businesses. And SRK had some filmy names in mind too like- Pathaan Bakery or Dilwale Dulhaniya Sweet Shop. Uff, it will be flooded with fans, we are sure!
