During the trailer launch event of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, Ayushmann Khurrana clarified that the film does not promote cheating. He stated the film revolved around the four main characters. According to him, his character Prajapati is a “green flag” and that his moral compass is very correct. The actor also said that they were not promoting any infidelity, as it is a family film, adding that it is a comedy of errors. He further stated, “Ismein aisa kuch nahi hai ke Prajapati ka kissi ke saath affair hai. Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai .” (There is nothing that suggests Prajapti is having an affair with anyone. There is nothing like that at all.)
