AR Rahman’s Daughter Khatija’s Wedding Reception Was A Grand Affair With Great Singers, Musicians In Attendance
It is full-on shaadi wala mahol at AR Rahman’s household as the music maestro’s daughter Khatija got married to her beau sound engineer Riyasdeen Riyan in May. Well, their wedding reception was held yesterday, June 10, 2022. Pictures and videos from the event have surfaced on the Internet and it looked like it was a grand musical affair. The reception was held in the evening at the ARR Film City which is located in Tamil Nadu.

The reception was attended by the film industry’s actors, musicians, singers, and filmmakers like Manisha Koirala, Shekhar Kapur, Mani Ratnam, Javed Ali, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam and Abdu Rozik among others. MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister also had graced the event with his presence.
For the big occasion, Khatija had opted for a purple lehenga with silver jewellery and also had covered her face with a matching mask. While her husband Riyasdeen wore a black suit with a white shirt and bow tie.

Rapper Honey Singh also had attended the reception and took to his Instagram to share a picture with the couple. Giving his best wishes, he wrote, “Best wishes to the blessed couple n congratulations to the whole AR RAHMAN sir’s families n fans !!”

Khatija and Riyasdeen Riyan got married on May 6 and also shared pictures from the wedding ceremony on Instagram. She also has shared a beautiful video of her wedding. In the caption of which she wrote, “With the prayers and blessings of my grandparents and our families. On my big day (May 5) with @riyasdeenriyan. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my family and my dearest team.”
