Actress Nayanthara has finally tied the knot with beau/filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. Keeping the ceremony private, the two said ‘I do’ in attendance of close family members and friends. The couple who reportedly started dating in 2015, made it official with an engagement ceremony and now a stunning wedding in Tamil Nadu’s Mahabalipuram.

A beautiful bride in red, Nayanthara trusted the classic wedding day colour as she opted for a custom lace saree, a sheer veil from JADE by Monica and Karishma. Keeping it nothing different from the usual celebrity weddings, Nayanthara trusted Dolly Jain for draping, Alia Bhatt’s makeup artist Puneet B. Saini for makeup, hairstylist Amit Thakur for hair, Shaadi Squad and Stories by Joseph Radhik for event planning and pictures.

Trusting the trendiest colour-blocking technique for her d-day, Nayanthara added a twist of colour play through her choice of jewellery. She opted for an emerald green choker, statement neckpiece, rani haar, a matching mangtika, and stud earrings as a part of jewellery by Goenka India. She further completed the look with a statement emerald ring, matching bangles, a delicate nose pin and red bindi. Further for makeup and hair, the actress relied on understated glam, and opted for a nude lip shade, and shimmery eyes, as she tied her hair into a neat bun, and adorned it with fresh gajra. Uff! She looks breathtakingly gorgeous!

Complimenting her bride in red, groom Vignesh opted for a beige kurta and dhoti, with a statement gold chain and wrist watch making it to the only pieces of accessories. Ahead of their wedding, Vignesh earlier posted a heartfelt note for now-wife Nayanthara, as he wrote, “Today is June 9th and it’s Nayan’s. Thanking God, the universe, the goodwill from all the lovely human beings who have crossed my life.” He further expressed his excitement of seeing her walk the aisle, a few hours before the wedding and declared that the two are ready to start a new chapter officially in front of their beloved family and the best of friends.
