Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan Johar showered appreciation on Anushka Sharma was her stunning red carpet looks. He wrote that Sharma is ‘exceptionally stylish’ and has an ‘individualistic approach’ to fashion. Karan also went ahead to write that she always ‘nails’ every look. He ended his note by writing ‘IYKYK’, meaning ‘if you know, you know’!

Anushka Sharma saw Karan’s appreciation post for her and also has reacted to the same. She shared the screenshot of his story, and tagged him while adding a red heart alongside it.

But looks like Internet users think that Karan Johar’s post was a backhanded compliment to Anushka. They are having a hard time believing that Karan was genuinely appreciating her, and not being sarcastic. Peeps think he posted the appreciation post for the Chakda ‘Xpress actress to throw shade at Deepika Padukone, who recently took to the internet by storm with her presentation at the Oscar 2023.
