Stars from the sports and entertainment industry gathered last night for the Indian Sports Honours 2023. In attendance were celebrities from Anushka Sharma, and Virat Kohli to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. Walking the red carpet, these celebrity power couples surprised us with their sartorial finesse. I hope I could pick one drab look, but each of them offered a delicious service to our eyes. Virat Kohli Anushka Sharma
The power couple made a head-turning choice in chic purple and black ensembles. On Sharma, we spotted a gorgeous, off-shoulder gown, featuring a drooping neckline, a thigh-high side slit, and a ruched bodice. Posing with his lady love was Virat, who picked the same designer label and wore a black pantsuit. Anushka arrived on the red carpet, dripping in diamonds, while Virat looked edgy sporting his new haircut.

Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh
Another of Bollywood’s favourite couples walked the red carpet with Deepika’s father and former Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone. The actress looked elegant in a classic black saree, featuring golden embroidery on the borders. Padukone teamed the drape with a black, open-back blouse and sported her signature hair bun. She further chose to go with smokey eye makeup and temple earrings. Ranveer Singh matched the actress in a black pantsuit and added some colour play through a pair of tinted sunglasses.

Neha Dhupia Angad Bedi
The most charming of all, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi walked the red carpet in spectacular ensembles. On Dhupia, we spotted a satin, pre-draped saree. The bronze chrome saree was further accessorised using a stack of gold bangles, and hair tied into a low bun. Next to Dhupia, her husband Angad was no less a stunner in a navy blue pantsuit, and a white shirt. They definitely ate it!

Men In Black
Two of our favourite men from Bollywood who made some head-turning choices were Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan. The actors walked the red carpet in a double-breasted suit in black, layered over white shirts and black ties. The signature silhouette fit the stars like a glove and was definitely a safe fashion choice made by them.

The Bollywood Wives
Next in line were Netflix’s Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives fame stars–Maheep Kapoor and Seema Sajdeh. The two walked the red carpet like best friends in neat monochromes. On Kapoor, we spotted a dazzling sequin blazer, shorts and a satin top, which she styled using a pair of see-through stalkings and heels. Seema picked a neat white blazer, layered over a lace bralette, electric blue heels and a red lip colour to seal it all together.

Rhea Chakraborty
The actress made a rare public appearance at the awards show in a bright blue gown. On Rhea, we spotted a cut-work gown, featuring two-toned sequin detailing, a hand-embroidered bodice, a pleated skirt and a fitted waist belt. The actress further curled her hair into easy waves and arrived without any accessories.

The popular Indian cricketer was no less a star, and we definitely were surprised by his look for the night. Experimenting with a classic tux, the cricketer chose to dazzle in an elevated blazer, featuring twinkling silver threadwork, a dramatic tassel border on the edges, a matching black shirt and a pair of crisp pants. He further accessorised the look using a silver chain and his signature gelled-up hair.
