Relationships, in their very essence, have always been ever-changing. Especially in the post-pandemic world, relationships have become more complicated, unpredictable and of course, fast-paced. The beauty of these relationships has been captured in the best and most diverse manner, by anthology-based movies like Ghost Stories, Lust Stories, Paava Kadhaigal, Ajeeb Daastaans and of course, Life In A Metro. Now, 15 years after the major success of Life In A Metro, director Anurag Basu and producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu and Taani Basu, are getting together once again, to create another anthology movie that is bound to take you on an equally special, inspiring and magical journey called Metro In Dino. Much like the first movie, Metro In Dino also brings with itself, the stellar cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal.

But that’s not all, the music for the movie is going to be created by Pritam and we are already excited about the great songs that are about to come our way with Metro In Dino. After all, who doesn’t still, hold Immense love for the iconic songs from Life In A Metro?

Much like its predecessor, Metro In Dino is also planning to showcase various bittersweet tales depicting human relationships in the most intimate way possible. Although, it intends to focus on the fact that relationships have changed by focusing on the fast-paced nature and ever-changing nature of human relationships in modern-day and contemporary times. So, the goal of the movie is to make sure that the viewers experience a fresh storyline, a new perspective and a journey full of excitement, emotions, and twists. It also brings the fresh pairing of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan on screen, for the first time. Doesn’t that sound like a treat?
Ecstatic about the upcoming collaboration, producer Bhushan Kumar said, “working with Anurag dada has always been a treat! Stitching a story out of parallel lives together in a film with a contemporary twist, none better than dada could helm this ship. We are elated to join hands with him yet again for Metro… इन दिनों.
