Ali Fazal Supports The Rising Voices Seeking #MeToo Accused Sajid Khan’s Eviction From ‘Bigg Boss 16’
Allowing #MeToo accused filmmaker Sajid Khan into the Bigg Boss 16 house as a contestant has caused a massive uproar on social media. People have come out to slam the channel for even considering him as a potential contestant for this season despite knowing that many women from the industry have allegedly him accused of sexual harassment. Right from his entry, many people have united in demanding that he should be evicted from the house. Until now, not many men from the industry were openly supporting Sajid Khan’s eviction from BB16 except Ali Fazal. He has taken to his Instagram story to share a post that demands Khan’s removal from the reality show.
The original post was made by a digital artist who goes by the username @smishdesigns. The cover photo of the post contained a picture of Sajid Khan from when he made his entry into the Bigg Boss 16 house and it was edited with a flame underneath it. Following this picture, the user also shared a series of tweets that were opposing Khan’s participation. Ali Fazal shared this picture on his Instagram story.

Recently, Bhojpuri actress Rani Chatterjee also allegedly accused him of misbehaviour. Recalling the traumatising experience, Rani said that she had contacted Sajid during Himmatala’s shoot. And he agreed to meet her as well but asked her to not bring any PR contact or even the manager along with her for the meeting. It is during this meeting that he asked her about her breast size and also asked her to show her legs.

The voice against Sajid Khan’s eviction from the Bigg Boss house is amplifying each day. People are standing in solidarity with the women who have allegedly faced harassment at his hands. We are hoping the makers of Bigg Boss understand that taking such a critical issue and making it the talking point of their show just for the sake of TRP is insensitive and not acceptable.
