Akanksha Puri Wins The Swayamvar Of Singer Mika Singh, Ready To Become Mika Di Vohti
The tradition of Swayamavar was seen in ancient India, where a woman was given the liberty to choose her husband from the many men who attended the ceremony. However, now this concept has just become a reality show, the first of which was done by Rakhi Sawant. The same concept was again aired on TV with this time singer Mika Singh looking for a bride and the show’s name was Mika Di Vohti. It has come to an end now, as Mika finally found his bride in Akanksha Puri.

Mika Di Vohti was a Swayamvar for Mika Singh to find his wife. The show has 12 participants who were quite eager to marry the singer. It was a reality show, however, the famous singer was up to take a very important decision on this show. The finale of the show saw three potential brides- Akanksha Puri, Prantika Das, and Neet Mahal. The three finalists also had the prenuptial ceremonies before the final decision of Mika. They had their Sangeet, Mehendi, and Haldi. Ultimately, Mika Singh chose Akanksha Puri as his Vohti, meaning wife. The final episode of Mika Di Vohti was graced by well-known faces from the industry, the Swayamvar indeed happened on a grand scale, and now the marriage is awaited.

As per a report, Mika Singh and Akanksha Puri had been friends for almost 12 years now, and Akanksha’s entry into the show was also a wild-card contestant. On the show, Akanksha also confessed his love for Mika and said that she realised this while she was a part of the show. Mika Singh in the finale episode also said that he wished his best friend to become his life partner while announcing Akanksha Puri as his bride, how sweet! The couple is all set to tie a knot soon, well we are now eagerly waiting for that announcement too!
