And while there are a lot of participants on the show, it is the entry of actress Akanksha Puri on the show – not as a guest but rather as a contestant – that has created quite the buzz.

Akanksha Puri started her career as an air hostess while also doing modelling projects on the side. She got her big break when she featured in Suraj’s Alex Pandian – an action-masala film. Later on, in 2015, the actress made her Bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar’s drama film, Calendar Girls. The movie was released on September 25, 2015, and revolves around the lives of 5 girls who make it as annual calendar girls. However, she is known for her role as Goddess Parvati in Vighnaharta Ganesha.
Akanksha Puri has also featured in movies like Tihar, Praise the Lord, Samrajyam II: Son of Alexander, and more. She also has made an appearance in many music videos – ‘Main Jis Din Bhula Doon’, ‘Dangerous’, ‘Hare Krishna Hare’, ‘Bewafa Tera Muskurana’, and more.

In a recent interview, the 33-year-old actress revealed that she has known Mika Singh for more than a decade and they are best of friends. She even said that the two of them know way too much about each other.
And now, Akanksha Puri has made a wild card entry in Mika Di Vohti – a show where the winner gets to marry Mika Singh. I’m excited to see what she brings to the table.
