As mentioned in MoneyControl’s article, a cabochon-cut natural ruby from Madagascar has been placed in the center. It is known for its smooth domed surface and deep oxblood colour. The best part about it is that it simply doesn’t just sit on the band but rises from the gold coronet-like structure. A scalloped gold gallery wraps around the ruby stone, making the ring look as though the gemstone is wearing a small crown. Fine milgrain beading, a delicate hand-finished detail often seen in heirloom and royal jewellery, gives it the finishing touch. Additionally, the ring features a silhouette of a bombé signet, which is bold and weighty. It was reportedly revealed that sourcing the ruby from Madagascar took more than three months. It belongs to an elite category, with less than 0.1 percent of rubies acquiring this type of quality. The surprising part is that it took over 256 hours of craftsmanship and involved 131 pairs of skilled hands.
