Amid the ongoing investigation of the Ketan Agarwal death case, the internet was once again shocked after rumours about the accused, Siya Goyal and her lover Chetan Chaudhary’s alleged secret marriage started surfacing online. Although the report revealed the police were probing the same, many seemingly looked at it as a fresh twist to the matter. However, shedding light on the situation, Siya’s lawyer Vipul Dushing has reportedly dismissed the claims. Know all about it below!

As mentioned in New18’s report, Siya Goyal’s lawyer, Vipul Dushing issued a statement on July 7 about the alleged secret marriage claims involving Siya and her lover, Chetan Chaudhary. He dismissed the claims and reportedly stated that the news regarding the marriage of Siya and Chetan has been published in the newspapers and in articles. He added that there was “no substance” to the entire thing. It’s worth noting that his statement remains the first response from Siya’s legal team as the reports about her alleged secret marriage started making the rounds online!

For the unversed, according to NDTV, it was reported that the police were investigating if the marriage certificate existed under the Special Marriage Act. The reports also revealed that two of Siya Goyal’s college friends, who were the alleged witnesses, are also being investigated. Additionally, the police’s technical teams are attempting to recover the deleted pictures of a private Instagram account that allegedly showed Siya and Chetan wearing wedding garlands. Furthermore, Chetan’s bank records are also being probed to see if he paid a person to skip the mandatory public notice to rush through the alleged secret marriage. 

In case you don’t know, amid the Ketan Agarwal death case investigation, Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary have reportedly been sent to 14 days of judicial custody.
