5 Ridiculous Things ‘Bigg Boss’ Pulled This Year Which Made The Audience Turn Off Their Television

Bigg Boss season 15, also known as Bigg Boss: Sankat In Jungle is in full swing right now. It premiered on October 2, 2021, on Colors TV with Salman Khan hosting the show for the twelfth time. The contestants are trying hard for their survival on the show in order to bag that huge prize money but their mission is going downhill for some reason. But Bigg Boss being Bigg Boss, the show used its trump card for the 100th time now, which is putting the one and only Rakhi Sawant with other previous contestants. They managed to add some life to the show but the audience is still not satisfied and many are complaining that this season is full of unnecessary crap and we kind of agree with them.

 

So, here’s a list of the top 5 ridiculous things Bigg Boss pulled this year that should’ve been avoided and made the audience switch off their television sets.

1. Bringing back old contestants

As you might know, the contestants of Bigg Boss 15 are failing to entertain the fans and making the audience say, “Where’s the drama?”. The makers noticed that and found a not-so-perfect solution for it. They decided to bring back the previous contestants of the show including Rakhi Sawant, Rashami Desai, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Abhijeet Bichukale, and Rakhi’s husband Ritesh Singh, which was totally opposite from what the audience had asked for.

2. The whole drama between Rakhi Sawan and her husband Ritesh Singh. Uff!

Whenever the contestants of BB house fail to entertain the audience, the makers of the show bring back Rakhi Sawant. This time, Rakhi brought her husband with her who is reportedly not her husband… IDK, it’s a whole convoluted mess! Rakhi Sawant has been a part of the show since the beginning and she does entertain the audience with her antics, but now the audience is really bored seeing her again and again and want something new. And I don’t know why the makers thought that inviting Rakhi’s husband Ritesh would do miracles for their show when in reality it didn’t work and the husband got evicted.
All and all, I love Rakhi Sawant but I’m sick of Rakhi Sawant, you know?

3. The Vishwasun-tree

Erm, I don’t even know what the hell that was! In the promos of the show, we saw a talking tree which was apparently voiced by legendary actress Rekha. The Vishwasun-tree was going to play a crucial role in the show and was going to affect the survival of the contestant but after a few weeks, the whole concept of Vishwasun-tree was gone with the jungle theme, for unknown reasons. In the name of the jungle, they just have a few fake leaves of grass in the lawn area.

4. The unnecessary, forced, and often fake romance angle

I know love-at-first-sight is a thing but Bigg Boss contestants found love in the first week of the show. Unbelievable! From Meisha-Ieshaan, Pratik-Akasa, Karan-Tejasswi, the lovebirds really irked the audience with their unnecessary romance. Though most of them are now out of the house, Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash’s on and off relationship is still going strong and we cannot deal with it anymore. Seriously, I’d rather watch the blank screen instead of them. Somebody, please tell them that this is a reality show and not a television series before they break up for the 100th time on the show.

5. VIP Pass

Can someone explain to me the whole VIP situation of the Bigg Boss house? At first, the OTT contestants were the VIP of the house. After some time, all the houseguests became VIP contestants. Then Bigg Boss decided to choose a few contestants as VIPs and decreed that they will have major power in the house which was actually going fine. Then like a true drama queen, Bigg Boss cancelled the whole VIP pass thing and invited contestants of the previous season to be the VIP guests. But wait, Bigg Boss did not stop here, he took the VIP pass from all the guests and only gave VIP access to Rakhi Sawant. I’m telling you, someone from the Bigg Boss team is in love with Rakhi!

I have a request for Bigg Boss, just cancel this VIP thing, for the sake of our mental health!

All things said and done, the audience is not at all satisfied with Bigg Boss 15 this year. There are a few contestants who have a chance to win the season but the overall spark of BB winner is missing from them. According to the reports, there are chances that some contestants will re-enter the house, but I just hope that they will clean up the mess that the contestants and the makers have made so far!
