World Music Day: 10 Songs With Compositions That Will Leave You Inspired
Do you know what day is today? It is the day we celebrate the sound of the universe – music. Yep, you guessed it right, it is World Music Day today and I couldn’t have been more excited. Music means a lot of things to different people, but to me, it is a synonym for peace. I end up listening to songs, compositions, etc. to tune out the world and sometimes to even tune out the voices in my head. Moreover, playing instruments and the diversity of sounds they create have a special place in my heart.
So when William Shakespeare said, “If music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it; that surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die.” I couldn’t have agreed more. Because if you ask me, music is a universal language of love.
