Apparently, during a Lok Sabha debate on the issue of high prices, a video of TMC MP Mahua Moitra keeping away her branded Louis Vuitton bag is doing rounds on social media. Now whether she truly “hid” her bag or not, that’s debatable, however, Twitterati has already put out their verdict, and looks like they were quick to judge.

In the viral clip, Trinamool minister Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar can be seen speaking on the high-prices issue, and Mahua Moitra normally picks up her Louis Vuitton bag and keep it under the table. In this video, most of the Twitter users tagged her as a “Hypocrite”. Most of the people on Twitter claimed that during the “mehangai” debate, Mahua “hid” the branded and expensive bag.

Well, honestly it might be an unintentional action that has been interpreted in the wrong way. Because it is not the first time she has been carrying an LV bag, and just because she owns a branded bag, does not mean that she cannot speak on the topic of rising prices. She clearly has made a career that gives her the luxury to buy an expensive bag and nothing is wrong with that.
