Lohri 2022: Here’s How Celebs Like Katrina Kaif, Yami Gautam, Rubina Dilaik And More Celebrated The Festival
The first festival of the year was here and along with it, it brought hope, light, and warmth to all our hearts! This is one thing that I love about India. A pandemic or not, we, Indians, will always find a reason to celebrate happiness. Along with the whole country celebrating Lohri, there were our B-Towners and TV celebrities that were also in the festive mood celebrating the festival, some with their pets and wine, while others with popcorn. From Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Kajol, to Ekta Kapoor, Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, and Divyanka Tripathi, the celebrities took to their Instagram to share snippets of their celebrations and wish their fans a very Happy Lohri!
Lohri is the first festival of the year and what better way to ring it in than to spend it with the people you love? In fact, that’s exactly what the entertainment industry did. May it be Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif or Varun Dhawan or Kajol or Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, these celebrities had a fun time celebrating the harvest festival.

1. Varun Dhawan
Taking to his Instagram, Varun Dhawan shared a snippet of his Lohri celebration which featured his cute dog and a bonfire.
2. Kajol
Kajol shared an Instagram story where she was seen holding a plate of popcorn and was all smiles along with two women from her family.
3. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal
Both – Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share pictures of their first Lohri together post marriage where they were seen all cuddled up next to the bonfire.
4. Patralekhaa
Wishing her fans in her Instagram story, Patralekhaa shared a picture of the bonfire with a small sticker saying Happy Lohri.
5. Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla
Rubina Dilaik shared a cute selfie with her husband Abhinav Shukla and captioned it, “Happy Lohri from us to you jee”

Karan Wahi also took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of the bonfire that had yet to be lit. What was surprising about this bonfire was that it looked nothing like the typical bonfires that are lit up on Lohri. (P.S seems as though Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Wahi celebrated festival together.)
Seeing all these celebrities celebrate the festival in full swing, I’m getting major FOMO vibes. Why? Because unlike Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, and Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla, I celebrated mine alone with just a book as a companion. Anywho, Happy Lohri to all (belated, of course)!
