Following the recent heart-breaking retirement announcement by tennis legend Serena Williams, the well-known and beyond beloved Swiss tennis master and legend Roger Federer has decided to retire from his career too. This has come as shocking news for everyone. More so, because being the powerhouse of talent that he is, it’s hard to see him go. Although, he clarified that his decision is based on the fact that he has had his fair share of battles with a knee problem and the painful moments have forced him to call time and give up on his historic career.

But apart from tennis, he is also very passionate about travelling and has done so, extensively. He has visited India three times and his last visit was back in 2014. The beloved Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar met the legendary tennis player during his 2014 visit to India. They even played a very wild match together during the International Premier Tennis League 2014.
2. Riteish Deshmukh
Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh played a triples match together with Roger Federer. He was seen sharing quite a few laughs with Riteish Deshmukh.
3. Aamir Khan
Bollywood’s perfectionist, Aamir Khan also took to the tennis court to play with the tennis’s king of perfection, Roger Federer. The two were clicked, playing together on the courts.
4. Deepika Padukone

Amitabh Bachchan and Roger Federer along with Deepika Padukone were spotted dancing at the Coca-Cola gala dinner during the International Premier Tennis League’s third leg at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, back in 2014.
While leaving India during his last visit, Roger Federer made it a point to express his love for the country. In an interview, he said, “I really enjoyed being in India. Unfortunately, I could not do many of those trips but I know that I will definitely travel to India in a big way. There is much to see. I want to come with family and hopefully, we can do it peacefully. I would really like to travel to this beautiful country.”
