Brand Selling Grandpa-Style Shorts For Rs 15k Amuses Internet, People Call It, “Baburao Ka Kaccha”!
I feel the line between fashion and fancy outfits is blurring with each passing day. With people preferring comfort over clothes, a lot of normal-ish and non-fancy outfits are also being considered “fashionable” today. And fashion houses are minting money on this ideology. Since people are opting for minimal and low-key clothes to make a loud fashion statement, these houses are selling the most basic clothing items at exorbitant prices just in the name of style and fashion. And one such clothing item that has caught the netizen’s eye on the Internet is the infamous grandpa shorts! And that pair of shorts is sold for a whopping Rs 15, 000! Yes, you read that number right and no, I haven’t added an extra zero by mistake.
A Twitter user took to the micro-blogging platform to share a pair of shorts that I am sure you must have seen your grandfather wear at some point selling for Rs 15, 000. Rs 15, 450, to be precise! The shorts are light blue in colour with green broad stripes over them. This has caused the Internet to double over as they could not believe a clothing item as basic as this could be this expensive. Many have gone to share their thoughts about it while several others also made memes about it.
