Uorfi Javed Condemns Overturning Of Roe V Wade Judgement, Speaks In Favour Of Women’s Right To Abortion
The recent judgement by the US Supreme Court on overturning Roe V Wade has sent shock waves in the world. Roe V Wade which gave women abortion rights was taken away from them just like that. Women across the world have spoken outrageously against it, and many called it a black day for human rights as well. Uorfi Javed has kept her opinions on the matter in the simplest words, and yet it creates the maximum effect. Uorfi took to her Instagram story on Wednesday to share a post of a social media user in which she talked about the severe consequences of overturning the Roe V Wade judgement. In the picture that Uorfi shared, the woman has described her experience and pain since the abortion rights have been taken away. The user also posted a picture of what her tummy looked like because she had to wait for an abortion for days even after her tube had erupted. Sharing a picture of this post on her Instagram account, Uorfi wrote that the United States easily has the provisions to give guns in the hands of unstable people, however, the country took away the basic abortion rights from women. Furthermore, she added that violent crimes have been increasing in America, and post the overturning of the Roe V Wade judgement, even the female death rates will increase because of all the illegal abortions and complex childbirths.
