By  |

Bridgerton season 2 has been making waves all over the world and for all the right reasons too! After the successful first season, where we got to witness Daphne and Simon’s fairytale romance, fans were looking forward to Anthony’s and wanted to know who would catch Mr Perfect’s eye. And boy, oh boy, did the fans get what they wanted! Indian fans of Bridgerton had more to rejoice about because of the South-East Asia representation depicted in the show. The female protagonists, the Sharmas, are shown to have Indian roots and glimpses of Indian traditions were also witnessed by the audience. To celebrate this diversity shown in the show, a dinner was hosted wherein prominent women of colour were in attendance. Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker, who was one of the attendees, took to her Instagram stories to give us a sneak peek of the dinner party.
