Shreya Ghoshal Reacts To Online Attention She Received Over Her Childhood Friendship With Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal
As someone who doesn’t like socialising a lot, I tend to hold on to a lot of old friends and have been lucky enough to have friends that have held on to me all these years. Because of this, I am still in touch with a lot of my school friends. However, I can’t imagine how weird it would feel if people would be making a big deal about the nonsensical conversations I have had with my friends. That is exactly what happened to Singer Shreya Ghoshal when she garnered a lot of attention online as her school friend Parag Agrawal was appointed as the CEO of Twitter. People started digging up their old chats and her reaction was very befitting.
Shreya Ghoshal attended the Atomic Energy Central School No.4 in Rawatbhata until 8th grade where the current CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal was her classmate. After his appointment as CEO, she has found herself in the midst of online attention owing to their bachpan ki dosti.
The people on the internet dug up old exchanges between the two and started hyping it up after his appointment. One of the chats was just a generic conversation where they caught up on how they are doing in life. Another one was Agrawal saying, “Nice DP, kya haal chaal hain.” to Shreya.

Shreya Ghoshal reacted to all the attention tweeting, “Arre yaar tum log kitna bachpan ka tweets nikaal rahe ho. Twitter had just launched. 10 years pehle! We were kids! Dost ek dusre ko tweet nahi karte kya? Kya time pass chal raha hai yeh?”

I don’t understand what people made such a big deal about. Shreya Ghoshal and Parag Agrawal are two successful people who used to know each other in school. Why is that a big deal and why are people hyping it up so much is beyond me.
